Everton's Second season is were the name Moon Light Dribbles was born, Everton playing on Stanley Park and against teams from Liverpool were a very junior club in Liverpool however Everton managed to bring down to play Darwen who were one of the best clubs in lancashire at the time and held there own only losing 2 goals to 1 Everton also played Great Lever in the lancashire senior cup for the first time losing 2-0 however after an appeal Everton replayed the match and got beaten 8-1 great names like Tommy Marrion, Jack Mcgill (Captain),Frank Brettell, Mick Higgins and Tom Evans are well known names in Evertons history.
