Evertons first Season at Goodison park, after the split with John Houlding who started Liverpool football club at are old ground Anfield. Mr George Mahon becomes Evertons first chairman and Mr R Molyneux becomes Evertons Secretary. Everton play there first ever game at Goodison park against Bolton Wanderers winning 4-2 in front of 12,000 spectators after being 2 goals down, Cassidy of Bolton Wanderers becomes the first goal scorer at Goodison and Fred Geary the first Everton player to score at Goodison, However the first league game was against Nottingham Forest Resulting in a 2-2 Draw. Horace Pike of Forest scores the first league goal at Goodison and Alfred Milward scores first Everton League Goal.
