This Season ends in a sad note when Everton are relegated for the first time in there history to the division two. One of the main reasons I believe was that Dixie Dean was carrying a serious injury and had lost a yard of speed and was not himself and the board of directors had insisted in him still playing for Everton while carrying this injury till it become unbairable to carry on, Unfortunately by this time Everton were in dire straights and played Tommy White as centre forward and Everton finished strongly but failed to stay up.
